About the bloggers
Patricia is a German reader, sister, daughter, nerdfighter, and all around twisted person, who loves pop culture as much as she hates it. If she’s not busy inhaling the trashiest novels she can find, she tries to change the world one comment at a time. No, actually not, but she is concerned about the homophobic, sexist and racist world we live in, so consider social justice one of the topics she feels more passionate about than, let’s say, cookies.
Her favourite genres are probably those that contain paranormal and romantic elements. She prefers Adult to Young Adult, and Present to Futuristic or Historical settings, though it depends on the circumstances in the societies presented. Her favourite books include the obvious suspects (The Little Prince, Harry Potter, His Dark Materials) as well as many titles written by Stacia Kane, Meljean Brook, Nalini Singh, Kelley Armstrong, Ilona Andrews, Julie James and Tessa Dare.
Her favourite shows include Elementary, Doctor Who, The Borgias, Continuum, Lost Girl, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, Teen Wolf, Revolution, and The Walking Dead. If you want some movie and show recommendations, consider following her on trakt.tv.
Jen joined BookExhibitionism on November 17th (more here) and still needs to write something about herself here. Until then: She oves everything Paranormal, and unlike Patricia, doesn’t seem to avoid Young Adult novels at all. She also reads Dystopian novels much more than Patricia ever would, but does seem to hesitate when it comes to Historicals.
